I am not a melon...

Just a few things on my mind... If you have read this blog before today, you know that there are a few blog entries gone. I have rethought the purpose of this blog. So... Here's my first random entry.

I have recently (like in the past six months) started a fcebook profile and have reconnected with a lot of old friends and have found a way to keep up wih my new friends. It's been awsome, and eye opening. Many of my friends from high school have changed lots. And many have really grown into themselves. It's going to make my high school reunion (15 years people!) very cool. My 10 year was very cool as well. But I only really talked to a few ppl. This time I may find myself talking to more ppl and being more social. I really hope so anyway. I really am looking forward to it.

I have also been looking for ways to earn extra money in this dismal climate. I have also been looking for ways to save money. A few things that I have been trying to evaluate is what am I good at. I sew. I knit. I craft. Soooooo... I am experimenting with a loose buisness model to use these abilities to their potential. An online store at esty.com? Maybe... Sewing for friends? Maybe... I dunno. As far as saving money... I have been clipping coupons. I am going to embellish and redesign some of my older cloths for a second life and to hopefully make them wearable again. Some trim, some yo-yos, some flowers, and maybe even some iron-on transefers and it will be like a whole new woredrobe. Well... that's the idea anyway.

I have also been following other blogs. Please check them out. Granted, one of them doesn't update often. But it's well worth it when he does. Check out Diary of a Mad Skald and Random Musings of a Neo-Bohemian Geek. They are good. I will also be adding a few other blogs to my list and also a daily feed bar. I read a lot on the net, and some of it is amazingly cool and informative. Be looking for the updates. Till next time...
